Welcome to Visionary Home of Peace: Your Trusted Partner in Compassionate Home Care Services.
As part of our flagship programs, we have embarked on a campaign to meet these old men and women at the community level. The goal is to interact and encourage them to form Associations in their various communities where we meet them occasionally to share some food items, organize medical screening and entertain them through various activities including songs and hymns. These branches of the Home comprising a total number of about 1500 aged people converge at Adenta; Mega Kharis Church premises, every 1st July and 1" October (UNITED NATIONS DAY FOR THE AGED) to make merry and participate in quizzes and dancing competitions with the support of the Church and other benevolent individuals.
Residents gather in the main sitting area and interact with each other by playing games such as Ludo, "Oware", Cards, Checkers and many more. They also watch some television programmes to entertain themselves. They are also given the opportunity to join our outreach team to visit their counterparts in other communities.
ADMISSIONS TO THE HOME
Apart from the older persons our outreach team identify certain homeless and vulnerable aged that are brought to the Home for assistance. The group also extend a helping hand to the working class who for some reasons beyond their control, are overburdened with combining the pressure of work and taking care of their aged relatives.
The 'Visionary Home of Peace for the Aged' has for the past eight (8) years diligently carried out this mandate with the ultmost love and care towards the aged and ready to do more for the society with a little support from individuals, benevolent groups and corporate bodies. We put a smile back on an aged face because our senior citizens need us to reciprocate the love and care they showed us when we most needed such.
